Joe Jonas reveals embarrassing moment after joining Mile High Club

A string of stars have shared the sordid details of their mid-flight trysts, which made them members of the 'Mile High Club'.

But for Joe Jonas, his first sexual experience on board a moving aircraft was more embarrassing than erotic.

The singer and actor, 36, isn't shy about sharing stories about the notches on his bedpost - even though he's the former poster child for teen celibacy.

Joe and his two brothers, Nick and Kevin, famously donned purity rings during their Disney days, each vowing to 'wait for the right person'.

The siblings said that they would abstain from sex until they had each found themselves a wife - but the trio later quietly slipped these rings off and threw caution to the wind instead.

Joe later went on to reveal which lucky lady he lost his virginity to, although he seemed to completely forget to consider that she might not want that information out there for the world to see.

The 'Burnin' Up' singer didn't spare any of the grisly details either and told fans that he 'didn't have any condoms' so he 'demolished' his pal's room looking for them.

"So I went to our drummer Jack’s room - who was my roommate at the time - and I demolished his room looking for them," Joe wrote. "[I] found them underneath his underwear drawer.

"When he came home, he thought somebody broke into his room because his whole room was demolished. I was in dire need. Needed to happen then and now. Safety first, kids."

Interestingly, this drummer also involuntarily ended up involved in Joe's being admitted into the Mile High Club, too.

The Camp Rock star revealed he earned his Mile High Club stripes a 'couple of years ago' while chatting to the Are You Okay? Show earlier this week.

When asked to share an 'embarrassing memory which keeps him up at night', he didn't hesitate before spilling the beans about his shameful sh*g on a plane.

In the short clip, Joe explained: "I joined the Mile High Club a couple years ago. I was wearing contacts, left the bathroom and I thought I was high-fiving my drummer...it was the flight attendant."

Joe then clarified that he was on board a private jet at the time rather than on a commercial flight, joking: "Or I would be banned from flying."

A lot of social media users seemed to think Joe's tale was hilarious, as one person commented: "I am a flight attendant and I am so here for a accidental high five from Joe."

Another laughed: "He’s so single lmaoooo," while a third added: "Joe is a national treasure."

Others thought Joe should have kept the details of his sex session in the sky private, as one said: "Why do celebrities think we want to know these things? Keep it to yourself mate."

"What an odd thing to share," a second said, while another chimed in: "Guys high-fiving after 'smashing' is sooooo f*cking tacky!"
