Merry Christmas LADs, Celebrity Traitors has kicked off.
The first famous people edition of the iconic show in the UK started last night (8 October), and fans are already all up in arms about a supposed mistake that’s been made.

While some veteran The Traitors fans may argue that the ‘worst Traitor in history’ was last season’s Linda or even a pretty crap one from back in 2022, some viewers reckon the latest recruit has topped them all.
And let’s be honest, even if they’re not quite the absolute ‘worst’, they have held their own hands up to struggling with the pressure that comes with being a Traitor.
The BBC has treated us to some big names though, with the likes of Celia Imrie, Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed, Tom Daley, Paloma Faith, Clare Balding and Stephen Fry taking part.
But none of them felt the tap of our queen Claudia Winkleman on their shoulder last night as she chose her first celebrity Traitors.
The lucky (or unlucky?) three are: Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr.

They didn’t get to murder a Faithful on the first night, but were instead informed of the dreaded task that they needed to murder in plain sight the next evening.
And for us viewers, that meant being left on an absolute cliffhanger of just who was about to be struck off by the Chatty Man.
Yep, poor old Carr was the one given the responsibility of the murder as both Ross and Burns agreed it would make the most sense for him to do it.
The comedian had to rub his hands on the black lily that sat in the bar before touching the face of one of the victims, essentially giving them the mark of death.

But from the moment he was recruited, it was clear he was stressed with plenty of nervous giggling, smirks and a bit of panic in his eyes.
Carr even told his fellow traitors he was going to struggle with the task, but still gave it his all and marched straight into the bar to get the flower on his hands.
Ross and Burns made sure to clear as many people away from the bar, and the talk show host even removed the glass jar from the lily to make things quicker for the Chatty Man.
But when Carr left the room, he didn’t replace it, which some viewers think is a huge mistake.

“PUT THE BLOODY LID BACK ON THE LILY,” one wrote on Twitter as others echoed: “Alan, noooo, you've left the lily uncovered!”
And another put: “Alan Carr didn’t put the lid back on the lily ffs !”
But, I mean, if he’s not the one who took the lid off and had arguably the hardest task, should he have had to be the one to put it back on?
At least he’s got us laughing, though, as viewers point out on Reddit: “Alan Carr might be one of the worst traitors ever but hey I'm laughing and he's completely self-aware so even better.”
With another writing: “Alan Carr is making me laugh. I feel like he’s gonna go down in flames in the most entertaining way.”
