The Glee reboot is confirmed and it seems as though fans could be set to see some familiar faces, with multiple stars already linked to the new series.
The cult high-school musical show originally aired for six seasons between 2009 and 2015.
As well as treating us to some pretty incredible covers, the series wasn’t without its controversies, including one episode that people were urged not to watch.
It's now been confirmed that the show is being revived by Disney Plus and Hulu with original series co-creator Ryan Murphy returning.

Today (21 October) Variety announced that Lea Michele will also be back as she’s set to reprise the role of Rachel Berry.
Michele appeared across all six seasons of Glee, with Rachel making her first appearance in the pilot episode.
In an interview just last month, Michele strongly suggested that she’d be down for a reboot.
“I love Glee. I will always love Glee,” she told E! News when asked how she’d feel about ‘revisiting’ the role.

“I love Ryan Murphy.”
“[The show] just holds such a special place in my heart for me,” Michele continued.
“So, I will follow Ryan wherever he goes.”
And now it seems that she’s following him right back to the set of Glee.
Speaking to Variety, one source confirmed: “She’s in.”
While another said: “It’s still early-ish days, but it feels good and we’re happy to get the band back together.”
And it seems that Rachel won’t be the only original character appearing in the reboot.
So far, two other Glee stars have made very telling social media posts that appear to confirm they’ll be back.
Taking to Instagram, Heather Morris - who starred as Brittany Pierce - shared a throwback photo of herself in her William McKinley High School cheerleader’s uniform with the caption: “Yes ladies and gentle men of women, rumours are true.
"Brittany S Pierce was in fact lost in the sewers for all these years. But I’m here to inform you that she is alive and well...
"And back for more #Glee”.
Chord Overstreet, who played Sam Evans, also dropped a pretty hefty hint that he’d be returning.
In a post on X today, he wrote: “Reunited and it feels so good!”
Meanwhile, Deadline has reported that Matthew Morrison, who played teacher WIll Schuester on the show, is not in talks to return ‘as yet’ but that he is ‘hopeful’ he could be involved in the revival.
Murphy said last month that he had been in touch with ‘around 10 of the original cast members’, who they are or whether they’re keen remains to be seen but we can probably expect to hear some further announcements in the coming weeks.
