I’m a Celeb viewers are only two episodes in, but they’re already calling for a new rule.

The newest episode of the 2024 installment of the reality show saw GK Barry, an influencer and podcaster, get voted to undertake the first bushtucker trial.

Called ‘vile volcano’, she was forced to climb through a series of tight caves and tunnels whilst surrounded by disgusting fluids, bugs, small crocodiles, and even a snake.

This culminated in the podcaster, whose real name is Grace Keeling, being left in tears at a massive spider shocking her whilst crawling through a tunnel.

She screams and swears throughout, with hosts Ant and Dec saying: “We’re going to need to bleep a lot of this”.

She managed to get nine out of ten stars, earning prizes for the camp.

This led to her coming back and the camp chanting ‘GK! GK! GK!’.

Despite the positive outcome, however, fans are now demanding a new rule for the show.

Per the Mirror, one viewer said: “We beg you, please let this be the year that you finally listen to us and make it so it's not the same person shouting in every trial every night—it's not actually entertaining”.

Another said: “GK Barry is going to do every trial, isn't she."

Several fans were theorising that, due to her being an influencer, many fans would be voting for her throughout.

This led some to suggest a new rule, stating that a celeb couldn’t be voted for back-to-back bushtucker trials.

Some viewers pointed to Nella Rose, the influencer and YouTuber who appeared on the show last year.

Despite being eliminated from the show second, Rose was picked for eight trials, the joint-second most in the season.

One fan tweeted: “Y'all best not vote GK Barry for every trial like you did Nella Rose."

Many viewers were loving Barry's inclusion in the show, saying: "GK Barry is the best thing to happen to i’m a celeb i have tears of laughter down my face."

Another said: "She might scream and cry every 5 minutes, but gk barry is going to be giving us top tier tv every night."
