Gordon Ramsay has ‘one regret’ after going nude on TV

Gordon Ramsay doesn't seem like the kind of guy to have a lot of regrets in life, given that he's so sure of himself.

However, he does kick himself for baring his backside on TV some years ago.

Viewers once witnessed the celebrity chef, 59, showering during an episode of his Hotel Hell series - and he wishes we hadn't.

As fans of the restaurateur will already know, Ramsay conquered the realm of reality television in the early 2000s and beyond.

He was at the helm of a host of iconic series such as Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen and The F Word, providing us lot with copious amounts of entertainment.

Although the majority of his shows followed a culinary theme, the father-of-six also offered his expertise to a range of hotels in his series Hotel Hell.

The show, which ran from 2012 to 2016 on Fox, followed Ramsay as he visited various struggling establishments across the US who needed some serious help.

Essentially, it was Kitchen Nightmares but for accommodation.

During one episode, Ramsay visited a hotel across the pond which left him seriously unimpressed.

Viewers saw him wake up on the wrong side of bed after having an 'awful night's sleep' at the establishment, which was situated in Murphys, California.

The place - which was aptly named Murphys Hotel - really wasn't up to Ramsay's standards.

He rolled out of bed and hopped straight into the shower, while reeling off a list of complaints, as he fumed: "Water's freezing, the place stinks...it is such a mess."

While sharing his thoughts on the hotel, Ramsay was filmed dragging himself up and into the shower to get a wash.

The cameras continued to roll as he made his way into the bathroom while sporting a pair of boxer shorts - and the crew carried on filming as he took those off, too.

He then steps into the shower, gives fans a glimpse of his bum cheeks through the tempered glass, and emerges after soaping himself up.

In true Ramsay style, he then heads downstairs and bollocks the staff at Murphys Hotel.

This episode of Hotel Hell went down a treat with viewers more than a decade ago - but as time passed, Ramsay admitted he ended up regretting his actions.

Discussing his shower scene years on, he admitted that he wishes he hadn't been filmed stepping into the shower without any clothes on.

"I do regret one thing - getting my ass out in the shower," Ramsay previously told The Sun, as per Digital Spy.

"Because of the sort of secret footage, I had to take a shower like you do in the morning. I know. I'm sorry."

Ramsay also previously discussed his body while speaking to LADbible earlier this year and told how he was once publicly shamed into shedding the pounds after becoming a self-labelled 'fat f**k'.
