Beverley Callard has given an emotional update on her health after exiting the I'm A Celeb jungle on medical grounds.
The soap actor had been part of the show's All-Stars series in South Africa, which is pre-recorded ahead of transmission, but ultimately had to exit the show just days before the finale.
Callard's exit scenes aired during last night's (21 April) episode, with the 69-year-old telling her campmates: "I didn’t feel very well this morning… and the medics have advised I can’t return to camp. I’ve got to go home. I don’t want to go.
"I’m absolutely gutted. I wanted to finish."

While Callard did not disclose the reason the show's medical staff had decided to withdraw her from the series, it was the start of a tumultuous time for the actor, who has since been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Addressing her exit in a video on Instagram, the Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps actor revealed that watching the moment back had made her 'cry all over again'.
"Of course, I didn't know then that I had cancer, but I just knew that it was the last couple of days there that I hadn't felt very well," she explained.
Going on to recall her final moment on the show, Callard explained: "What happened was, I went into the Bush Telegraph and apparently, I lost consciousness for a little while. I just wasn't feeling myself. They took me to a medical hut, and they were amazing; they really looked after me, and they said you can't go back.
"And I said, 'Don't say that, don't send me home, I'll be fine. I wanted to succeed and make it through to the end, but that was the start of everything. It's made me really emotional, but I will beat this. I will beat it."
Callard went on to add in the caption that her exit had been a particularly 'emotional watch' after finding out her cancer diagnosis, but added that she'd wanted to prove that 'age is just a number'.
"I feel so proud of what I achieved," she added. "Just got to get through this real-life trial now."
Callard has since been inundated with support from followers and former campmates as she rests up ahead of Friday's live finale, with Pussycat Dolls singer Ashely Roberts, writing: "You did prove that Bev. Sending love and so proud of you."
"You done amazingly, Bev..so proud of you," wrote another follower, while a second added: "Stay positive, you are a strong lady sending you lots of good vibes and lots of love."
While Callard revealed that she is focused on being present at the finale, one contestant who is allegedly refusing to show up for Friday's episode is Jimmy Bullard, with his long-rumoured bust-up with Adam Thomas also airing during last night's episode.
