An ITV spokesperson has revealed the truth behind claims that Ant McPartlin 'stormed off' the I'm A Celebrity set during an ad break.
Friday saw the second series of I'm A Celebrity: All Stars end with Adam Thomas being crowned an 'Ultimate Legend' in a live finale, a moment which was overshadowed by drama amongst the cast.
The drama revolved around a heated argument between Thomas and Jimmy Bullard over a Bushtucker Trial and whether or not ITV had aired the full bust-up to viewers.
Bullard claimed that Thomas had acted 'abusive and aggressive' towards him during the moment and suggested the network had edited out the worst of the argument, which McPartlin later clarified was due to Thomas using the word c*** during the row, a word which is 'unbroadcastable'.

However, Bullard refused to let the moment go, repeatedly demanding that ITV show the full moment to viewers, while boxer David Haye chimed in to support the former Fulham footballer.
The disagreement got so bad at one point that contestants Gemma Collins and Sinitta both left the stage, while an audience member claimed that McPartlin had even left the stage during an ad break while muttering that the unfolding finale was a 'f****** mess'.
"The whole thing was insane, it was such a mess," claimed TikToker @lexhartop, alleging that McPartlin ‘came off stage’ at one point to vape and mutter about it being a 'f****** mess,' while production were scrambling to 'keep the show together'.
It all sounds very dramatic, but perhaps not entirely accurate, as an ITV spokesperson has now denied claims that McPartlin had stormed off the stage.
"[It's] absolutely not true," an ITV spokesperson told Metro of the claims that McPartlin had stormed off stage swearing and calling the show a 'mess' while Declan Donnelly 'argued with Jimmy in the break'.
"This is pure fabrication," they added.
While some of the claims from the night have since turned out to be false, there's no denying the finale event will go down in history as one of the most dramatic, with both Bullard and Haye even claiming they were 'kicked out' of the studios at one point.
In footage published by The Sun, Bullard and Haye can be seen exiting ITV studios in London while talking loudly on the phone. "We’ve been kicked out the show. What’s that about? Genuinely," Haye can be heard saying to his phone while walking alongside Jimmy.
"Jimmy, tell them what happened?" he says, to which Bullard responds: "We got kicked out."
"Why have you been kicked out?" a fan can then be heard asking, with Haye replying: "For trying to tell the truth."
ITV has not responded to the claims; however, a source involved in the show explained that some campmates had felt 'uncomfortable being on stage with David and Jimmy', leading to them being 'sent home' during the Unpacked segment.
