Last night's episode of The Celebrity Traitors included the most stomach-churning task we've seen all season – and it's one which Scottish cinephiles may recognise.
In order to earn more cash for the charity prize fund, the celebrities were tasked with appeasing a series of spirits by locating lost items in a dilapidated shack.
For Sebastian 'Bash' Croft, this meant travelling 'head first, bottoms up' into a filthy toilet to retrieve some lost jewellery.
Sound familiar? You're not the only one who thought so, as many viewers were quick to point out that the scene was strikingly similar to one featured in Trainspotting.

For those who aren't familiar with the 1996 classic, Ewan McGregor's Renton dives headfirst into 'Scotland's worst toilet' to retrieve some lost suppositories.

And of course, the reactions to the moment were priceless.
"#CelebrityTraitors is brilliant tonight. Didn’t have Bash doing The Bog From Trainspotting on my Traitors Bingo Card," wrote one viewer on X.
"When #celebritytraitors meets Trainspotting," joked a second viewer, while a third added: "This is like the toilet scene in Trainspotting."
While Bash and TV hardman Ross Kemp were more than happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the foul-smelling toilet, not everyone shared their enthusiasm.
"Ohh it stinks," was Maya Jama's initial reaction to the dilapidated bog, while Little Mix singer Leigh-Ann Pinnock was retching and Sharon Rooney covered her nose in disgust.
"It does actually smell like poo," added Joe Lycett, just to make sure that viewers at home could fully envision the task with all five senses.

The stench was unfortunately too much for comedian Miranda, who ended up vomiting from the smell – a moment which murdered Faithful Bella Ramsay will have been glad to miss, due to having emetophobia.
Ramsay previously opened up about the fear during an interview on The Louis Theroux Podcast, saying: "It's such an irrational fear, I was so aware of how irrational it was, and people with emetophobia often like describe the same thing.
"Logically it's not something to be afraid of."

Back in the dilapidated shack, one person who wasn't as fussed about the smell was former EastEnders actor Kemp, who seemed to find the other celebrities' reactions rather amusing.
"Guys, it’s a little bit of poo – it's not going to kill you," he told the group.
All in all, the team were able to bank £4,500 for their efforts, while a particularly tense third roundtable saw Faithful Julie Hesmondhalgh banished.
