It’s not exactly very often that Jeremy Clarkson finds himself lost for words.

But this Who Wants to be a Millionaire contestant left the host totally stunned with his celebrity phone a friend.

Watch the moment here:

To rack up his winnings to £64,000, Adrian needed to correctly answer an environmental question.

Clarkson asked: “In the natural world, the term 'nidification' refers specifically to the building of what?”

And the contestants four options were: webs, damns, reefs or nests.

But Adrian wasn’t so sure, opting to use his ‘phone a friend’.

“Hmmm, I don't really have any idea about this one. I think I'm going to have to phone a friend," he said.

And it wasn’t like Adrian wanted to ring just any bloke from down the pub, he had quite the contact at the ready.

Clarkson ironically joked: “David Attenborough?”

He rang up his pro-quizzer mate for some help.

“Sadly not, no, nearly as good. Can I call Kevin please?” the hopeful millionaire asked.

The host kept up his joke as he said: “Kevin Attenborough. Of course, let’s call Kevin Attenborough.”

Digging in a little deeper to just who this friend is, Clarkson asked: “What does Kevin do?” And in an incredible TV quiz crossover, Adrian revealed: “He’s one of the Eggheads.”

“Oh, is he?”, the former Top Gear host clarified, “He’s an actual Egghead? Oh, that’s quite handy. Are you a quizzer? I’m guessing.”

Eggheads is, of course, the British quiz show were winning quizzers, titled the Eggheads, are pit against amateur quizzers.

So, it’s a pretty handy contact for Adrian to have on Who Wants to be a Millionaire?.

Adrian admitted he is a bit of a quizzer himself and sort of ‘basks in everyone else’s glory’. Fair play.

Clarkson seemed stunned by the Egghead contact.

It didn’t take Kevin Ashman long to answer the question – ‘nests’.

Adrian double checked he was ‘100 percent on that one’, and then locked in the answer thanks to his quizzing mate.

Unsurprisingly, Kevin was correct and Adrian ended up bagging an impressive £125,000 before leaving the show.

Users on X were stunned as they wrote: “Did the guy on Who wants to be a millionaire just use Kevin from eggheads as his phone a friend?”

And another put: “If your going to phone a friend on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire make sure it’s Kevin from the Egg Heads.”

Others joked it was ‘cheat code completed’ and said it’s a ‘small TV quiz world after all’.
