Jamie Lee Curtis has spoken out after her supposedly revealing outfit left fans ‘distracted’.
The Halloween actor isn’t exactly afraid of being outspoken, whether it’s controversial or not. And so she was keen to issue a bit of a clapback when she went viral recently.
It all comes as Curtis had the ultimate on-screen reunion with Lindsay Lohan for Freakier Friday. Fans had been begging for a sequel to the iconic 2003 Freaky Friday for years with the stars saying that’s exactly why this new hit had been made - just for them.
But while fans and critics rave about the new Disney movie full of Y2K nostalgia and fun, it was an appearance from Curtis at a fan screening in Los Angeles that has had a lot of people talking.

The star attended the event earlier this month in a costume from the film as she joined a whole load of fans in their own Freaky Friday-inspired fancy dress.
Of course, while she was there, she filmed a few bits of content for social media with one video shared by both Curtis and Disney Studios on Instagram quickly going viral.
The costume featured a short sleeve blazer style shirt with a large belt around the waist. One sleeve was off Curtis’ shoulder, creating a slight cleavage and exposing part of her neck and chest.
This then seemingly led to a user commenting: “Forgive me, I’m distracted,” and a viral meme was born.

The Everything Everywhere All at Once actor clapped back earlier this week as she shared an iconic snap of herself from the shoot, sitting in her costume and throwing up a peace sign.
“I LOVE the fact that the LAST photograph of me as TESS taken backstage in costume from my surprise appearance at @elcapitanthtre to support #freakierfriday has gotten more attention than any other since the announcement post with @lindsaylohan that sparked the movie getting made!” she wrote in the caption.

“HAPPY TO HELP SPREAD THE JOY THAT OUR MOVIE SERVES!”
Users commented to call Curtis a ‘queen’ and a ‘goddess’.

Speaking to People ahead of the release of this much anticipated sequel, Lohan said of her co-star: “'Safe' is a very important word to me. I have to feel safe around people. And Jamie is one of those people for me. Like, I feel very safe with you [Curtis]. I feel safe telling you things. So it’s—I know you said ‘trust,’ but for me it’s ‘safe.’”
Curtis added that the pair have remained ‘connected’ since the first film as she said: “That is special and rare for me.”
