Damn Daniel!

While all eyes are on Emma Watson after Disney's remake of The Beauty and the Beast was released, it's her Harry Potter co-star who's raking in the cash.

I was lucky enough to grow up with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. When I say, 'grow up with', I mean I watched them grow up through the eight Potter movies while I was roughly the same age. So it was sad once the film series ended and the trio split up to work on their solo careers.

Radcliffe, who played Harry, certainly didn't rest on his laurels after the 10-year franchise. He's been involved in films such as The Woman in Black, Horns, several TV shows and theatre productions.

It seems as if his hard work is paying off, after new figures show he is number one on the list of Britain's richest young stars. The 27-year-old is now worth £78 million, which is £4 million higher than last year.

He smashed his Harry Potter co-stars, with Watson sitting on a £39 million fortune, and Grint is worth £28 million.

Coming in second place is Twilight star Robert Pattinson with £67 million. Pattinson also featured in the Harry Potter franchise as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Former One Direction singer Harry Styles was third on the list with a fortune of $40 million. His worth surged £7 million from last year and that is only expected to go up as his new album comes out.

Singer Adele was named as Britain's richest woman under 30. Her fortune increase a whopping £40 million from last year due to the huge success of her album 25.

But those figures are just drops in the ocean for some of the UK's richest people. Brothers Sri and Gopi Hinduja have a combined wealth of £16.2 billion. They're the head of Indian conglomerate, Hinduja Group, which has its headquarters in London. They have investments in the automotive, financial services, ITES, oil and gas, media and telecom industries.

There are more than 130 billionaires in the UK, the most in history. Robert Watts compiled the list and has told the Daily Mail: "While many of us worried about the outcome of the EU referendum, many of Britain's richest people just kept calm and carried on making billions.

"We're seeing more and more diversity in the composition of the Rich List. More women, more people from ethnic backgrounds, and more from surprising walks of life, with egg farmers and pet food makers lining up with hedge fund managers and private equity barons."

Well I'm hoping they really enjoy their millions and billions.
