Fans were devastated after seeing that no one had come to meet Caitlyn Jenner following her I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! exit.

The 70-year-old was booted off the show, becoming the seventh star to leave this series.

However, as she confidently strutted across the bridge to the photographers, it quickly became apparent that none of her family had made the journey to greet her.

Viewers took to social media to share their shock at the reality TV star being left alone - despite having 10 children and 20 grandchildren - with some claiming they were 'heartbroken' for her.

One viewer commented: "NOBODY greeted Caitlyn at the bridge? That's so f***ing heartbreaking."

A second put: "No one came to greet Caitlyn? All those family members n friends & no one showed up! P*****."

While a third added: "Her family must think they are far too important and famous to come support her! Shows money doesn't mean anything! Would rather be skint with the family I have x."

During the interview with hosts Ant and Dec, Caitlyn became incredibly emotional as she spoke about her time in the jungle.

She said: "I can't believe I've made it all the way to three weeks and I hate to leave them with just a day and a half to go."

The chat then moved onto Caitlyn's previous appearance on the US version of the show, which she did back in 2003, before her transition.

She said it was 'much longer' this time, saying she missed her family much more.

Caitlyn explained: "[I missed them] terribly. It gets very complicated around Christmas time. It's actually easier being in the jungle."

The interview then turned to who the former Olympic champion wanted to win this year's series - something she said was a tough decision to make.

She said: "Everyone who is in there deserves to win this show but I think Roman [Kemp] has been absolutely great.

"Andy has come in late and was just phenomenal and Kate was so overboard, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick Roman."

But despite her exit, Caitlyn seems to have captured the hearts of the British public.

Praising her last night, one fan said: "How Fantastic was @Caitlyn_Jenner in the Jungle! A wonderful attribute to this years show! IMHO I wish she was part of a more appreciating family who shows her more love. She's amazing."
