There’s nothing more we love than a bargain - and with the current cost of living crisis, I think we all deserve a cheap drink.

So run, don’t walk to your nearest Wetherspoon pub as the chain is selling 28 drinks for just £1.99 each in a huge summer deal.

The ever-loved pub company are slashing the price on a wide range of spirits, long drinks, beers and ciders until 30 September.

For gin lovers, the offer includes gins like Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb and Ginger and Beefeater Blood Orange, or for vodka-lovers, you can get your hands on AU Blue Raspberry Vodka or Smirnoff Raspberry Crush.

If rum is more your thing, the Dead Man’s Fingers Pineapple will be on offer, among other liquors.

All of the above are available in a 25ml measure, including a free mixer of your choice.

Elsewhere in the summer drinks deal, a pint of Kopparberg draught cider and a pint of Stowford Press Mixed Berries will also cost just £1.99.

And if you’ve got a little more money in your pocket, there’s a selection of bottled lagers, including Peroni, Estrella Galicia and Desperados and also a choice of three flavoured Kopparberg bottled ciders, which can be mixed and matched at two for £5.

And coming in even cheaper at roughly £1.60 each is a choice of drinks at any three for £5, including Camden Hells lager, Beck’s, Bud Light Strawberry and Passionfruit Seltzers.

At an even lower price of roughly £1.25 each, a selection of 25ml flavoured vodka-based schnapps are going for four for £5.

But if you’re feeling boujee, offers also include a pitcher of classic Pimm’s for £4.99, and an Aperol Spritz for £5.99, filled with 100ml of Aperol, 200ml Prosecco bottle and soda.

Most ‘Spoons will be offering these drinks at the same price. However, city centre pubs will be priced as slightly higher.

It’s also worth mentioning that if you’re planning on getting a pre-flight drink before your holidays this year, this offer won’t be honoured at airport pubs.

Wetherspoon’s chief executive John Hutson said of the offer: “We are always keen to offer our customers the best possible range of drinks at excellent value-for-money prices.

“As always staff will serve customers responsibly.”

In line with licensing laws in Scotland, multi-buy offers will not be available in Wetherspoon pubs in the country.

Please drink responsibly. If you want to discuss any issues relating to alcohol in confidence, contact Drinkline on 0300 123 1110, 9am–8pm weekdays and 11am–4pm weekends for advice and support.
