A woman who secretly recorded herself quitting her job had an absolutely brutal final message for her boss.

It's the sort of think you think about saying, but you never do.

Generally speaking, no matter what the role is, having a good manager is everything.

If you're being ordered around by someone you simply don't like, work can become a real slog.

But thankfully one woman has showed us just how to stand up to your boss, although she did it just before leaving.

Taking to Instagram under the handle @officiallylique, the woman - who is now the owner of a cosmetics company based in Houston, Texas - filmed herself absolutely finessing her boss in the exit interview.

Watch below:

In a viral video posted on Instagram, she told her manager: "And yes, I actually do want to add something.

"I would just like to say that working under you was probably the most traumatic and stressful experience that I've ever had work-wise.

"So just you moving forward, I feel that you should do less micromanaging and focus more on the objective of the organisation that you're working for."

She wasn't playing.

"And also just being a little bit more relaxed in your work environment, because you do bring a lot of darkness and negativity in any room that you're in," she added.

"So that's really all I had to add. And I hope that you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and I look forward to the shipping label and I'll have all of the things returned to you guys as soon as possible."

The savageness was real, as the boss had nothing else to say apart from: "Perfect. Well, I appreciate your feedback. And I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well."

It didn't finish there, as @officiallylique replied: "Of course, [a] beautiful home to enjoy it in thank you."

Viewers were loving the drama, as one person commented: "It was the darkness & negativity for me."

"I don’t even know you but I’m so proud of you !!!!!!" another added.

"She gone think about this read for the remainder of her career," a third person joked.

Someone else commented: "Honey I love how today’s employees don’t accept that kinda treatment. Y’all will pick up and go to a new job with the quickness and let them know exactly why.

"These companies hire the most asinine people to be in management. They are the reason companies fail."
