MrBeast has spoken out after fans who stumped up thousands for an 'unforgettable' event in Las Vegas were left feeling hard done by.

A host of people forked out a lot of money for tickets to 'The MrBeast Experience', a three-day event which began on Sunday (13 April) at Resorts World Las Vegas.

Most attendees spent just shy of $1,000 on the deal, which included a three-night stay at the hotel in Sin City as well as a 'mystery bag' full of 'exclusive' MrBeast merchandise.

There was also a $10,0000 prize up for grabs for one lucky guest, while people were also reportedly promised meet and greets, photo-ops, mini-games and special drinks as part of the package.

The YouTuber - real name Jimmy Donaldson - is said to have teamed up with Resorts World Las Vegas for the event, leading most people who bought a ticket to believe he would be there live in the flesh.

But he was nowhere to be seen and according to the majority of those who attended, The MrBeast Experience in its entirety fell flat - and they say it certainly wasn't worth the hefty price tag.

MrBeast has now addressed the drama in a post shared on Twitter, as fans demanded refunds for the supposedly shoddy experience.

A number of people who complained that they were sold a dream gathered in the lobby of Resorts World Las Vegas on Tuesday (15 April) to speak to the CEO, Alex Dixon.

Theresa Metta, who made the journey from Arizona to Vegas for the event with her mother, said they 'did not get any' of the merch they were told to expect.

She and other guests claimed they were each informed during check-in that they should wait in their rooms, as a 'mystery' gift would be arriving for them.

However, people said they ended up holed up in their rooms for more than 24 hours while hanging on for the surprise - and when something did eventually turn up, they were less than impressed.

"I was told to wait in my room for two days for a package to come, so I legit spent two days in my room for a package to come," Metta told 8 News Now. "And it was a box of chocolates.

"It had kid’s shorts, an extra small shirt, a hat, and a medium shirt. If you go to MrBeast's store to their merchandise right now, all this stuff is on clearance for $9.

"We were told we’d get exclusive merch. Obviously, that’s not the case."

Fellow attendee Desiree Pineda shared a similar sentiment, explaining she had stumped up the money for The MrBeast Experience to celebrate her son's birthday, as he is a huge fan of the YouTube star.

"I was just trying to give him the best experience, and unfortunately as a parent, I feel like I failed him," she said.

The mum claimed that MrBeast fans who complained were offered $50 food and beverage credit for two different outlets by Resort World Las Vegas, which she thought was a poor attempt at resolving the issue.

"This experience has been nothing short of horrible," Pineda added.

A third guest, Abigail Marquez, outright called out MrBeast after being left in tears after travelling from Los Angeles for the event.

She fumed: "I started crying. Then I ran into other people that also were crying. I really just want my MrBeast experience that I paid for.

"If Jimmy is part of this, I hope he feels good for scamming a whole bunch of adults and their children. That’s how you get subscribers? Cool."

One frustrated fan shared a post on Twitter explaining they had done 'nothing' in 24 hours, saying: "Where’s the experience??Is there gonna be any activity’s or anything? Waiting in room lol.

"Just got a gift bag with some merch..,small t-shirt, large hoodie, and xxl shorts…weird. Gave us his left over shirts that cost $9 lol @MrBeast save us please!!!"

The social media star then responded to the post with an apology, explaining that he was working to make things right.

MrBeast wrote: "This definitely isn't the experience we hoped they'd deliver. My team's already on it - I'd love to personally make it up to you and anyone else by inviting everybody affected to tour my actual studio!

"Can't wait to meet you all and my team is reaching out to everyone."

The event page publicising The MrBeast Experience has since been removed from the Resort World Las Vegas website.

LADbible has contacted Resort World Las Vegas and the MrBeast team for comment.
