Parents of Ryan ToysReview asked when will channel end as YouTuber celebrates another birthday

The parents of Ryan ToysReview were once asked when Ryan's channel would come to an end.

The mum of YouTube star Ryan Kaji - who is best known as ToysReview - was once asked when the young boy's channel will end.

At just 10 years of age, Ryan became the highest-earning YouTuber in the world for three straight years by posting simple videos of himself and his family members unboxing and reviewing various toys and gadgets.

While the boy's family were smart to license Ryan's name and likeness to over 5,000 'Ryan's World' products, his net worth is reported to be in the region of $100 million.

At the time of writing, one of his YouTube channels have 55,863,950,885 views.

That is a lot of numbers.

Today (6 October) marks Ryan's 12th Birthday - almost a decade on since he first showed up on YouTube - and an important reminder that it has taken a family effort to get so far.

Loann Kaji, Ryan's mum, previously opened up about the family's success in 2019, telling Moms.com: "Recording content gives our family the opportunity to spend even more time together.

"Ryan loves recording videos, so it’s great to see him have fun with it and see how rapidly the YouTube channel has grown.

"Ryan landed his very own TV show Ryan’s Mystery Playdate on Nickelodeon."

At just 10 years of age, Ryan reportedly became the highest-earning YouTuber in the world for three straight years by posting simple videos of himself and his family members unboxing and reviewing various toys and gadgets.

"The reactions from fans have been amazing, and we’re so happy and grateful for all the opportunities we’ve been given," she added.

"We are very careful when partnering with brands and always take our time to make sure that they truly fit with Ryan and our family.

"We love to work with brands of which we are already fans, so we were very excited by our recent partnership with Colgate Kids."

However, when asked about when it was all end for the Kaji family, the mum politely declined to answer.

This comes after his parents were accused of not fully disclosing sponsored content in that same year.

While the boy's family were smart to license Ryan's name and likeness to over 5,000 'Ryan's World' products, his net worth is reported to be in the region of $100 million.

Truth In Advertising claimed Ryan's parents Shion and Kieu-Loan did not always clearly disclose when sponsored products were incorporated in videos - which was almost 90 percent of the time.

Responding to the accusations in a statement, the parents said they always complied with advertising regulations.

The statement read: "The well-being of our viewers is always the top priority for us, and we strictly follow all platforms' terms of service and all existing laws and regulations, including advertising disclosure requirements.

"As the streaming space continues to quickly grow and evolve, we support efforts by lawmakers, industry representatives and regulators such as the FTC to continuously evaluate and update existing guidelines and lay new ground rules to protect both viewers and creators."
