There's actually a very good chance of England qualifying before their third and final game in Group B.

Roy Hodgson's men were victorious on Thursday night after a Daniel SturrIdge winner at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis gave England all three points against Wales. It means that if a series of results play out in the coming days, England will qualify before they've even kicked a ball.

So here are the facts.

- A win against Slovakia will mean guaranteed first place and a fixture against the third-place team from Group A, C or D on Saturday June 25th in Paris.

- A draw against Slovakia would guarantee a spot in the last 16 whatever happens - but it means that Chris Coleman's Wales would top the group by beating Russia.

- England would still secure top spot if Wales fail to beat Russia.

- If England finish second, Roy Hodgson's men will face the runner-up in Group F in Nice on Monday June 27th.

- If England finish third, they will face Group D winner in Lens on Sat June 25th or Group C winner in Lille on Sun June 26th.

Here's how England can qualify without even kicking a ball:

- Croatia must beat Czech Republic and Spain must beat Turkey in Group D.

- Romania must fail to beat Albania when Group A concludes on Sunday evening.

Easy, right?
