Summer is officially in full swing. And with the heatwave bringing cloudless skies and long hot days, it's prime time to get a barbecue on the go and crack a few cold ones with your mates.
If you want to invite all your pals round but you're strapped for cash, don't worry - Aldi's got your back.
The budget supermarket is now selling twelve bottles of Stella Artois beer for just £5.99 ($7.60), working out at just 50p per bottle. I'll cheers to that.
The bargain beer was spotted by a shopper and posted onto the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
Only downside is, apparently the low price is part of Aldi's Specialbuy promotion, meaning there's only limited stocks available - so if you want in on the action, better get yourself down to your nearest Aldi stat.
Sit back and relax with a cold beer... Cheers to that :beers:. Which of these tickles your fancy? pic.twitter.com/iuLsMXiigy- Aldi Stores UK (@AldiUK) June 30, 2019
If not, you could always swing by Lidl, as they're selling the same crate but for £7.99 ($10.49). Or if you're looking to stockpile, you can save money at Asda, where they're selling three crates for £21 ($26).
But the deals don't end there. The Sun reports the numerous boozy deals on offer in the UK at the moment, including Sainsbury's selling four bottles of Heineken for £2.13 ($2.70) and ten cans of San Miguel for just £6.25 ($7.90).
And if wine is more your vibe, you can grab six bottles of plonk from Asda for £22.50 ($28.50), working out to just £3.75 ($4.70) a bottle.
So now you can get you and your buddies nice and tipsy this summer, and you don't even have to break the bank.
While we're on the topic of Aldi, the supermarket also released a range of fancy barbecue treats to get on the grill while you're sipping your Stellas.
This includes packs of Boozy British Bangers - which cost £1.99 ($2.50) for a pack of four - as well as Ghost Chilli Beef Burgers (£2.49 per pack) and Big Daddy Steaks (4.99 for 16oz).
They've even catered to all you vegans out there with the release of their meat-free quarter pounders, costing just £1.99 per pack of two.
In short, when it comes to barbecue season, Aldi's got you covered. Happy grilling... and drinking.
