With summer well and truly here, and temperatures set to rise again later this month, now is the perfect time to invest in an ice cream maker. Not only will you be able to make your favourite flavours as and when you want, but you’ll also be in control of the ingredients that you use to create your very own sweet creations. This makes going dairy-free, high protein or vegan much easier - and cheaper - than buying them straight from the freezers at your local supermarket.
A brilliant budget-friendly alternative to the viral Ninja CREAMI, this ice cream maker from Cuisinart can make slushies, sorbets and milkshakes, as well as ice cream, and you can even add your own mix-ins - like chocolate chips, crushed sweets and more - to get those McFlurry vibes at home.

You can also save on their saucepan, wok and stewpot.

This sleek Dyson V8 stick vacuum makes light work of a pesky chore, as you’ll no longer feel like you’ve been lifting weights after throwing a hefty vacuum cleaner around. It's the brand's most powerful V8 yet, with 10% more suction than previous similar models. It’s lightweight and cordless, and it’s quiet too.
Unlike many other cordless models, this one won’t lose suction after one room, with up to 40 minutes per charge. It has two power modes, including an Eco mode for everyday cleaning to save battery life. If you’ve got a serious mess to tackle, there’s the MAX mode for the most powerful suction to sort out that intense spot cleaning. The V8 detangles long hair and pet hair too, so even if you have a house full of shedders, it’ll handle it with ease, deep cleaning carpets and also picking up even the finest dirt from hard floors.
