The new challenge is set to test his liver - but maybe not his wallet

The man who drank 2,000 pints in 200 days is back with a new challenge - and it's a doozy.

Or should I say a boozy?

Sorry.

Anyway, Jon May previously put himself to the test, by downing approximately 5 pints a day for a year.

Speaking to LadBible after completing the challenge, he said: "Currently I’ve got about 108,000 followers because of it, so I’ve got people telling me, ‘When is the video, when is the video?’

"But at the beginning, I didn’t have that so there was a point of like ‘is this really worth it?’

"Has it been worth it? Yeah, it has been worth it, definitely.

"I’ve helped quite a lot of pubs [too]."

It goes without saying that drinking 2,000 pints is not something LadBible is recommending you attempt yourself.

You should drink responsibly, as recommend by Drinkaware.

Five months on from the completion of his daily drinking task, May has set himself a new challenge.

If you were thinking he would scale down for this new round, you would be sorely mistake.

This time around, the 25-year-old is having a pint at every Wetherspoons in the country.

If you live in the UK, you don't need telling that this is no small feat.

If you're not from the UK, let's just say that there are probably more Spoons than there are red letter boxes at this point.

Exact figures on the number of Wetherspoons in operation vary - May himself puts the figure at 862, while London Drinks Guide puts it at 900.

Either way, that is a ton of pubs to get through.

And even with the prices being as cheap as they are, those £3 pints are bound to add up eventually.

But given that he now works on TikTok and has more than 100,000 followers, he probably doesn't need to sweat it.

At each 'Spoons he hits up, he treats himself to a nice cold pint and gives his verdict on each one.

Fans are delighted with his new undertaking and have praised him.

One viewer commented: "Oh, we are so back," whilst another requested for him to review the carpet at each location.

Another gushed: "Babe wake up, new Jon May challenge dropped."

Many commenters urged May to reach out to them when he hit up their local, indicating he'll never have to have a pint alone.

May has currently visited 13 locations so far.

You can follow his progress over on his TikTok.
