One of the UK’s most beloved chocolate bars has returned to shelves for the first time in three years, and Brits are ‘running’ to the shops to get their hands on it.

Back in 2022, Milky Way Crispy Rolls were discontinued, a decision that was met with national uproar, as over 1,500 people signed a petition to bring it back.

It seems to have done the trick too, as the nostalgic sweet treat has landed at an Iceland near you, alongside two new flavours: Bounty Crispy Rolls and Twix Crispy Rolls.

The exciting news was announced via the British supermarket chain’s Facebook page, alongside the caption: “This is not a drill! Your favourite Milky Way Crispy Rolls are BACK! and they've brought us TWO EXTRA ADDITIONS! Bounty Crispy Rolls. Twix Crispy Rolls Get ANY 3 FOR £1.20 or 50p EACH!”

The post has amassed over 3,000 likes and 5,000 comments, as social media users can't contain their excitement.

One Facebook user commented, “I think I might cry, I’ve been waiting for this.” Another agreed, as they wrote: “Crying, screaming, throwing up.”

A third hinted at clearing the shelves out, as they added: “Ermmm, I’ll take 50 Crispy Rolls, please. I love these!”

The Milky Way Crispy Roll launched in Germany back in 1994, before making its way to UK shores two years later. Despite its popularity, the cult chocolate bar was famously discontinued in 2022. A spokesperson for the brand told The Independent at the time: “While Milky Way Crispy Rolls are currently in a galaxy far, far away we’re pleased to offer many delicious alternatives such as Milky Way Magic Stars, Maltesers, Mars and of course, the traditional Milky Way.”

“The love for Milky Way Crispy Rolls has been out of this world and we’ve certainly taken note!”

Now, they're back, but according to Facebook comments, they’re selling fast due to huge demand. So, how can you get hold of the iconic chocolate bar?

Where to buy Milky Way Crispy Rolls in the UK now

If your local Iceland store has run out of the chocolate bar, then don’t panic. At the time of writing this, you can purchase Milky Way Crispy Rolls on Amazon. A box of six will set you back £8.98. If you’re worried they’ll sell out again soon, you can stock up on a 24-box for £17.99. Race you there?
