Nando's confirms cocktails will be launching in UK restaurants from today

The high street restaurant is starting summer with a bang, by launching their new frozen cocktail range.

The hot weather might not have arrived, but foodies can celebrate the start of the summer holiday in style thanks to Nando’s.

Adding something extra spicy for the summer, the restaurant has launched a new range of frozen cocktails to go alongside it’s iconic PERi-PERi flavours.

If you are curious about the mouth-watering drinks, we have all the details below, including where you can sip the ice-cold cocktails.

Launching nationwide from today, Nando's will now offer two frozen cocktails: the PERi-cante and the Sunset Slushie.

Made to add a little zing to the already flavoursome menu, the PEri-cante mixes vodka, mezcal tangy lime and a hint of chilli to take your tastebuds on a flavour journey across the world.

Meanwhile, the Sunset Slushie is for those who want a refreshing summer tipple and bold fruit flavours.

It mixes a dash of vodka, peach liquor and vanilla with juicy pineapple and mango, for the perfect sweet drink.

Be careful not to get brain freeze though as you polish off these amazing cocktails, as both come as frozen slushies – adding a new twist to the much-loved Nando’s menu.

However, you have to plan in advance if you want to taste these tipples – as they are currently only available in selected UK restaurants.

The two cocktails will be available at selected sites across the UK.

These include: Kings Cross, Westfield Stratford City, Brighton (Marina), Salford Quays, Crawley, Liverpool (ONE), Hull (Princess Quay), Birmingham (Selly Oak), Wolverhampton (Bentley Bridge), Battersea and Waterloo Station.

If you needed any more of an excuse to sample the new drinks, they are currently being trialled meaning that they may not stay around forever.

Meaning you better get ordering then if you want the new drinks to become a permanent fixture – not like we needed another excuse to try them!

Fans of the restaurant chain will undoubtedly be excited by the news, as the drinks were already highly anticipated addition to the menu.

Rumours had begun to swirl earlier this week, when a photo of a Nando's menu surfaced online.

Next to a photo of the new cocktails, which both come in 190ml classes and range from 7-7.7 percent ABV, the menu read: "Cocktails. That's it."

However, there also looked to be another new addition with a draught version of Sagres also available.

It's understandable then that Nando's afficiendos have been getting in a flap over the new menu, with the Portuguese beer taking pride of place alongside the frozen cocktails.

With all the extra tipples on offer, we can hardly blame them!
