McDonald's has launched a 'first ever' new breakfast menu that will be available in 332 UK restaurants

Hungover, rushing to work, on a road trip, ‘just because’ – a Maccies breakfast just hits.

And to make it even better, McDonald’s has now launched a ‘first ever’ new breakfast menu that’s set to be available in 332 UK restaurants.

With a shake-up this month, the fast-food giant has had a change up to its offerings this week as it brings back its ‘best ever burger’ but also axes a number of items.

Yep, it’s hello to the Steakhouse Stack but goodbye to the Philly Cheese Stack and McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse.

Other items joining the menu today (7 May) include the Biscoff McFlurry, McSpicy X Frank’s RedHot and Frozen Cherry Lemonade but let’s just focus in on the sacred Maccies brekkie.

Trialled in the 332 restaurants from today, the chain has launched its Breakfast Saver Menu.

Set to ‘bring delicious flavours and great value to breakfast lovers’ the prices start from just 79p and includes new items.

The Breakfast Saver Menu features a special Sausage Sandwich and a new Saver Bacon Roll, priced at £1.99 and £2.19 respectively.

Other bargains on the menu includes fan favourites like the Cheesy Bacon Flatbread for £1.99.

There is also the humble Porridge (£1.69), crisp Apple Slices (79p), Tropicana Orange and Apple Juice (£1.89) and of course, the sacred, the golden, the elite, the Hash Browns at £1.59 each.

Offered in the select locations, McDonald’s is also offering a Breakfast Bundle Deal from this saver menu as diners can grab the Sausage Sandwich or a Saver Bacon Roll with a selected drink for just £2.99.

So that could be your morning-saving bacon butty and a coffee secured for less than three quid.

Where will the Breakfast Saver Menu be available?

Like all good things, there is a bit of a catch.

While 332 restaurants might sound like a lot, the selected spots are all in the North for the trial.

So, this Breakfast Saver Menu is only available for a short period of time before McDonald launches it ‘more broadly later this year’.
