If you live in South West Sydney or the Inner West, Suntory BOSS Coffee is giving you the ultimate pick-me-up next week — free iced coffee and breakfast. Yep, you read that right.

New research conducted by Suntory BOSS Coffee has revealed that South West Sydney residents are officially the earliest risers in the city, waking up at an average of 6:04AM – well ahead of the Sydney-wide average of 6:21AM. Not far behind are the City and Inner West rising at 6:17AM, followed by the Shire and South East Sydney at 6:22AM, with early trains, long commutes and shift work to blame.

But now, those early starts are finally getting the recognition they deserve.

Suntory BOSS Coffee is rolling out a series of pop-ups across Burwood and Campbelltown, shouting locals a free brekky and NEW Suntory Boss Coffee Café to kickstart their day*.

Running from Tuesday 21 April to Thursday 23 April, the Suntory BOSS Coffee Café truck will be set up at key commuter spots from 5:00AM to 8:00AM – basically exactly when you’ll need it.

On offer? A free serve of their new Suntory BOSS Coffee Café range, including the Suntory BOSS Coffee Cafe Iced Double Espresso or Suntory BOSS Coffee Café Iced Long Black, designed to taste less like milkshake, more like real coffee.

And, because no coffee run is complete without food, they’ve teamed up with cult South Sydney bakery Self Raised to hand out delicious brekky snacks like savoury croissants, focaccias, and Boston cream donuts.

If you’re the type of person that feels like you never have time for a decent coffee, this opportunity is for you.

The research behind the campaign also highlights that workers across construction, manufacturing and public services are keeping the city running before most Sydneysiders have even opened their eyes, with alarms ringing before 6:15AM — this one is also for them, they’ve earned it.

Here’s where you can find the Suntory BOSS Coffee pop-ups. Keep your eye out for the Suntory BOSS Coffee van so you can get your well-earned free fix:

  • Opposite 17 Deane St, Burwood at Burwood station NSW 2134 – Tuesday, 21 April (5:00AM–8:00AM) and Wednesday, 22 April (5:00AM-8:00AM)
  • Goodyear Autocare carpark Campbelltown, 78 Queen St NSW 2560 – Thursday, 23 April (5:00AM–8:00AM)

There’s also a bonus drop happening at Self Raised’s Carlton bakery on Saturday, 25 April, where you can score a Suntory BOSS Coffee Café with any purchase (while stocks last).

Just a heads up: it’s one free coffee and breakfast item per person, and it’s all first in, best dressed.

Look, lads, if you’re already up before the birds, you might as well get a decent feed and coffee hit for your troubles.

This research was conducted by PureProfile on behalf of Suntory BOSS Coffee from 13 to 18 March 2026, surveying 1,007 New South Wales metro residents aged 18+ years who are currently employed.
