A woman bought a totally rundown house for just £68,000 and transformed it into an incredible black haven.

Sometimes you’ll be driving to the supermarket, or having a stroll round an estate with the dog, or perhaps just having a nosy at where your mates live on Google Maps and you’ll come across a place that sticks out.

Maybe it’s covered in flowers or the front garden is filled with gnomes. Or, it’s Jade Doutch's black-cladded home.

The mum-of-one bought the Anglesey house two decades ago – after initially looking to bag the home next door.

Now, the 43-year-old has over 400,000 followers on Instagram where she shares updates on her incredible home, sharing the amazing interiors, styling and DIY jobs.

Jade has put a lot of work into the home.

Once utterly rundown, Doutch had rendered the house in a grey colour but last year a trip to Iceland inspired her.

And now, her place has wooden and black cladding covering it, certainly making it stand out as you pass by in North Wales.

Doutch told Manchester Evening News (MEN): “I lived in two council houses and this was the first house that I bought myself. I had £8,000 heritage after the death of my mum and at 20-odd years ago that was quite a lot of money, so I thought I’d use it as a 5 percent deposit as interest rates were low.

“I bought the house but I did not know what I was doing, I was only 22 at the time and I was totally naive to the work that needed doing here."

Over the past two decades, she’s certainly put that work in, adding an extension and doing up her unreal south-facing garden.

She’s got a tropical-looking garden, Scandi and Nordic influences throughout the home and rustic touches.

Her home is literally so nice that Doutch is now a full-time home and lifestyle content creator because people just can’t get enough.

She said: “I love doing it because it’s my passion and it’s given me lots of flexibility. It’s amazing that my passion and career have collided."

Jade is now a full-time content creator.

One DIY video shows her making her own bar in the garden using tiles leftover from her friend’s bathroom.

Another clip shows a 360-degree view of her incredible kitchen with plenty of plants, brick-walls, hanging lights and a shiny marble-looking island.

Doutch even has an ‘outdoor fireplace’ is building a ‘cabin’ at the back of the garden and regularly gives followers tours of her home.

Users write in the comments: “Truly lovely! I wouldn’t ever want to leave!”

And many call it an ‘amazing transformation’.
