Foodies have been sent into a frenzy over a new collaboration between Mob and Rimmel London.

The iconic British beauty brand has teamed up with recipe platform Mob to promote its latest range of lip products, the ‘Oh My Gloss’ Lip Oil and Lip Butter Balm.

To kick off the partnership, they are holding a series of supper clubs with recipes inspired by the ‘rich textures and indulgent shine’ of Rimmel London’s lip range.

Social media chef Suzie Bakos, who held the first of the supper clubs, took the opportunity to unveil her Rimmel-inspired menu this week, comprising brown butter ice cream topped with dates cooked in butter, pistachio, rose, extra virgin olive oil and sea salt.

It closely mirrors the textures and shades of the ‘Oh My Gloss’ range which includes vanilla, red velvet and latte.

A sneak peek at the first supper club has sent fans wild with one exclaiming "Now this is a collab,” while another wrote: “Food looks yummmm”.

Following the supper clubs, a series of ASMR-style content will follow on @Mob's social channels, including even more recipes inspired by the range.

And there’s a chance for fans to get in on the action too, as Mob’s chefs are set to host a Rimmel-branded supper club, giving beauty lovers and foodies the chance to experience the collaboration in person (details will be released soon).

What is Rimmel’s ‘Oh My Gloss’ Butter Me Up Lip Balm?

Rimmel’s new product has been dubbed ‘perfection in a tube’.

The latest launch from the British beauty giant is a lip gloss made with ingredients that are designed to care for your lips as well as making them look good, and beauty fans have compared it to designer versions from the likes of Rhode.

It’s been hailed by Rimmel as its ‘most premium and advanced lip care yet’ thanks to its clever formulation including 5% squalane and peptides which helps to make lips nourished and smoother.

With a sweet vanilla scent, it also gives a pop of colour with a choice of six shades to pick from.

However the affordable price tag makes it 130% cheaper than many ‘prestige’ products on the market, Rimmel claims.

And it’s currently on offer too, with a saving of £6 off when you buy two (offer applies to any two Rimmel products for £14 until April 22).

So what makes it so popular? Since dropping exclusively in Superdrug in the new year, it’s won over legions of fans thanks to its nourishing properties.

Its clever lip-hugging applicator makes for a silky-smooth application, and it comes in the following shades: Vanilla Frost (clear), Bubble Gum (sheer pink), Coral Breeze (sheer coral), Red Velvet (sheer red), Latte Delight (sheer beige) and Mellow Mocha (sheer brown).

What is Rimmel’s ‘Oh My Gloss’ Lip Oil?

The ‘Oh my gloss’ collection also includes the popular Lip Oil, which an impressive 95% of shoppers say they’d recommend to a friend.

The oil comes in four shades, each with a different scent to suit your mood: Clear Cloud (Coconut), Pink Flush (Water Melon), Berry Pink (Strawberry) or Vivid Red (Pomegranate).

Buy any 2 x Rimmel products for £14. Valid March 26 to April 22, subject to availability.
