Alert The Church Elders, This Is How Much Michelle Keegan Has Made Since Leaving Coronation Street

The other night, I was sipping a cafe au lait on the balcony of my penthouse, looking out over the man-made wonder of the city skyline when I thought to myself: 'I wonder how many sheets Michelle Keegan is turning in a year after leaving Corrie?'

Well, of course I didn't, but apparently someone at Metro did, 'cause they've actually gone and found out.

Yes, Michelle, who played Rovers barmaid Tina McIntyre on the soap, is now allegedly making £250,000 a year.

How? Good question. Well, Keegan, along with bagging other acting roles, deals and promotions, is the face of Lipsy.

A source revealed: 'Corrie was a dream come true but she had to leave for the sake of her bank balance. It looks like a shrewd move.'

Michelle was on a yearly income of 60k on Coronation Street, which is an eye-watering amount for most, but not for an actor. They deserve more.

Listen, fair fucks to her. Better than what most Corrie quitters achieve, which is small parts in random ITV dramas every three or four years.
