Emilia Clarke Says The Seventh Season Of 'Game Of Thrones' Will Blow Our Minds

We hope so.

It feels like years since the sixth season of Game of Thrones ended, meaning that we're due a healthy dose of fire, swords, dragons, a dwarf and some partial nudity.

Soon enough, when the seventh season finally airs, Reddit threads will come alive with various fan theories, spoilers and a lot of holy-shit-what-just-happened reactions. Until then, we're just going to have to wait patiently and speculate as to what might happen.

While we wait in anticipation, one of the stars of the show, Emilia Clarke, has teased us a little bit, letting us know her thoughts on the upcoming season.

Uploading a video of her miming R Kelly's 'I Believe I Can Fly', which sits behind Hall & Oates - 'You Make My Dreams', Phillip Bailey featuring Phil Collins - 'Easy Lover', Nelly Furtado feating Timbaland - 'Promiscuous', Paul Simon - 'You Can Call Me Al' and Outkast - 'Roses', as the sixth best song ever recorded, she wrote the caption: "That feeling when at last you're a day away from wrapping season seven. I believe this one's gonna be a mind blower."

There is yet to be a date set for the arrival of the first episode of the next season, but it is confirmed to be returning this summer.

Maisie Williams, Emilia's co-star who plays Arya Stark in the show, has also raved about the brilliance of the next lot of episodes.

"It's so exciting...it's just a great finale, it makes me excited for the series after," she said in an interview.

Back in September of last year Clarke revealed that the show's producers went all out and that 'shit gets real' in season seven.

"If anyone came on to [filming of] any day on Game of Thrones, it would be a spoiler. Every single word is a spoiler, almost. It's ridiculous, [but] they topped it again.

"Last season's battle was ridiculous. Miguel [Sapochnik], the director, have to shout out, he's phenomenal. But this season is off the shizzy. There's another battle."

And when asked who she'd like more screen time with, Clarke said she would love more scenes with some female co-stars.

"Give me another girl!," she said. "I want to go hang out with Cersei [Lannister], or with Maisie or with Sophie [Turner], that would be nice." And perhaps that, in itself, is a hint.

From the sounds of it the next season is going to be sick and we can't wait.
