Following the hospital's refusal to pay to take his dead wife's body home, Dana Majhi felt like he had no choice but to carry her body back himself.
The footage shows the lad carrying the body wrapped in sheets with his teenage daughter by his side as he headed towards his home nearly 50 miles away from the hospital.
Determined to make the journey by any means necessary, the man had walked seven miles by the time an ambulance arrived, courtesy of local youths who alerted the officials.
Majhi's wife passed away on Wednesday morning from tuberculosis. However, when he requested a vehicle to transport, he claims that the hospital insisted that he move the body and that he couldn't afford a private ambulance.

"Since I am a poor man and could not hire a private vehicle, I had no choice," he told the BBC.
However, a local medical official rejected his allegation and insisted that assistance had been on standby and claimed that 12,000 rupees (£135) had been set aside from the government and the Red Cross.

Regardless of the miscommunication between the hospital and Mijhi, there's no denying this lad's love for his family.
