Elon Musk, the brains behind PayPal, celebrates his 45th birthday today. If I knew Elon personally, or even just had him on Facebook, I'd drop a short 'Happy birthday, mate. Excited for this weekend!' but I'm not - so I'm just gonna pry into how much dollar he's turning in.
Check this out: Elon Musk - which sounds like a company he'd start-up - co-founded PayPal, Tesla Motors and SpaceX.
That's right. If I co-founded a relatively successful city-centre bar, I'd probably take what money I'd amassed after five years or so and then retire to Cornwall.

Musk, on the other hand, put a helping hand in one massive company and then did it all over again. A relentless cheetah with an ever-elusive prey. In other words, the Milkybar's are on him because as of June this year, he's worth $12.3 billion.

Musk is one of America's most influential businessmen at this moment. Though his early life began elsewhere, he has always been governed by a passion for the contemporary.

Born to a South African father and a Canadian mother, Musk became involved with technology when he was just a young lad. Apparently, he launched his first commercial software aged just 12.
He went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and soon thrust himself into the world of technology and finance.
These days, he allegedly spends his days inventing new concepts for Tesla Motors, in which he has a 32% stake.
One of these is the SolarCity concept, which hopes to replace petrol with solar power as a primary power source.

Not only is Musk incredibly rich, then, but also incredibly sound. An intriguing mix of globally powerful and environmentally woke.
That's my favourite type of businessman. Happy Birthday, lad.
