In what is one of the best examples of innovation this year, a 'torpedo' stocked with over £4.5 millions' worth of cocaine has washed up on a beach in Ireland.

The 'torpedo', packed with plastic packages of the drug weighing 1kg a piece, were also emblazoned with the Playboy logo, for some reason.

It was discovered on Monday when a County Clare resident reported the rusty device to Revenue & Customs.

'It is not possible at this stage to say either where the drugs originated or their intended destination,' a spokesman said.

The 'Customs Drugs Watch Programme' encourages people living in coastal areas and airfields to report suspicious devices or happenings.

The spokesman also said the investigation is ongoing.

Now, regardless of your class A stance, I think we can all respect the person who thought of the coke torpedo. It's problematic and costly, but it's not about that is it. It's the concept.
