I don't drive, but I imagine for those of you who do, running out of petrol is one of the most annoying things that could happen to you.
Editor's note: I do drive, and if you break down because you've ran out of petrol, clogging up a lane on a motorway or main road, then you are officially the world's biggest dick, so please enjoy this article but don't start inboxing us saying it's our fault if your car stops running. It's yours! And if you do break down, you know that everyone passing you hates your guts and probably wishes you ill.
For most of you, seeing the petrol light turn on means 'GET TO A FUCKING PETROL STATION RIGHT NOW'. Well, it turns out that you've all been flapping for no reason.
Editor's note: Seriously worrying about this article now. Get the petrol in, everyone!
Your Mechanic, a car repair and maintenance company, recently shared this handy little graph which shows around about how many more miles you've got left when the light turns on.

If you can't spot your car model, I'm sorry. They used the top 50 best-selling cars in the US in 2015 to compile their data. Don't shoot the messenger.
