According to BBC News, an explosion has hit Borussia Dortmund's team bus as they prepared to face Monaco for the first leg of their quarter-final match in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund's official Twitter account and Oliver Kay from The Times has reported that Spanish centre-back Marc Bartra has been injured in the blast, but the rest of the players are safe in their hotel.

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that the match has now been cancelled, and will be played tomorrow instead. There is currently no concern for those attending the game, police say.

Police are reporting that there were three explosions surrounding the team bus, as fans are being told to remain calm to ensure an orderly departure from the stadium.
