Ric Flair has updated his Twitter followers on his condition, posting an emphatic video letting them know he's still going strong.

Naitch wore a t-shirt which read "I ain't dead yet motherf***ers," as he reeled off a wrestling style promo shoot.

In the clip he says: "Hey to all my fans out there, let it be known world wide that Nature Boy is back up and running, looking as old as I can look.

"I want to tell all my fans out there thank you for all the love and support and I will see you in the very near future. Wooo!"

He looked lively and energetic, which is good news all round.

There have been few to cut a promo quite as good as the stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun.

And it seems that even from his hospital bed when he'd just awoken from a medically induced coma, the former wrestler couldn't keep his charisma to himself.

Despite being rushed to hospital and reportedly having an external pacemaker put in place and being on kidney dialysis, he woke up and allegedly cut a promo on a nurse, Wrestle Zone reports.

As ridiculous as it sounds, you can fully imagine Flair doing this. "WOOOO! To be the man, you gotta beat the man, WOOOO! And nurse, let me tell ya, I'm every woman's dream and every man's nightmare, WOOOO! And there it is, a $30,000 hospital gown, WOOOO! A $20,000 gold Rolex in the surgery room, WOOOO! I can take more punishment than anyone in the business, WOOOO! Because I'm the stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun, WOOOO!"

If this WCW promo with Mean Gene Okerlund is anything to go by, then the nurse must have had a good day...

His recent surgery was obviously a success, though updates have been purposely infrequent out of respect for his family.

"Out of respect for family privacy there has not been an official Ric Flair update, which has led to false information," Flair's manager, Melinda Zanoni of Legacy Talent, said in a statement at the time. "Don't believe everything you read.

"Happy to report Ric is awake, communicating and progressing, but there are complications so he needs rest for the first time in forty years.

"He did cut a promo on a nurse yesterday so anyone that knows him knows that's a very, very good sign."

She continued: "On behalf of Ric thank you for the outpouring of prayers and well-wishes (although the offers for a kidney seemed a little excessive). The man outlived a plane crash and being struck by lightning, he is a survivor. Grateful for all the love and respect sent his way."

It's great to see that he's on the road to recovery and feeling better - hopefully he'll be back to 100 percent fitness very soon.
