The Black Friday 2019 sales have been and gone, and now we're back to spending regular prices on the latest gadgets and tech.

However, even the most splashiest of people might wince at the price of Apple's latest computer.

The new Mac Pro is on sale now, with prices starting at £5,449 and going all the way up to over £38,000. Yikes!

The top end of the price scale is with all of the most expensive add-ons, reports The Independent, including a 2.5GHz 28-core Intel processor, 1.5TB of RAM, two Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics cards, 4TB of SSD storage, and Apple's own Afterburner card.

You'll also get a Magic Mouse 2, Magic Keyboard, and a charging cable.

However, this cost doesn't even factor in a monitor! If you want that too (which we assume you would if you're investing that much money on a new computer), Apple's new 6K Pro Display XDR monitor with nano-texture glass comes in at £5,449.

This brings the device up to a bill of nearly £45,000. Double yikes!

In other words, the bells and whistles edition of the beastly new desktop computer will set you back the equivalent of a deposit on a really nice house, a brand new Land Rover, or a couple of years' worth of living costs.

That said, the people who are able to spend this much on a computer could probably afford all of the above a hundred times over.

And even those on the lower end are going to have to shell out a good chunk of money if they want to get their hands on Apple's latest gadget, although it should be noted that a lot of those investing in the new machine will likely be people in jobs such as games design or video editing.

The 16-inch Macbook Pro, however, is a little more affordable, coming in at £2,799. Specs include a 2.3GHz 8-core 9th-generation Intel Core i9 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.8GHz, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory, 16GB DDR4 memory and 1TB SSD storage.

Per the official description: "Designed for those who defy limits and change the world, the new MacBook Pro is by far the most powerful notebook we've ever made.

"With an immersive 16-inch Retina display, super-fast processors, next-generation graphics, the largest battery capacity ever in a MacBook Pro, a new Magic Keyboard and massive storage, it's the ultimate pro notebook for the ultimate user."
