Stephanie was just 16 when she met 19-year-old Chris online. The pair got chatting after meeting on a band's Facebook page and became friends. Eventually they met in real life and began a relationship. As their relationship developed, they went on to swap nudes and Chris eventually talked Stephanie into letting him film them having sex.

Things went wrong when Chris uploaded the video to a porn site and, in doing so, ruined not only his victim's life but also his own. By uploading the clip, Chris had broken the law in regards to sharing indecent images of children, because being 16, Stephanie is seen as a child in the eyes of the law.

His victim has had her life turned upside down, and he had to sign the sex offenders' register. When it comes to viewing and sharing indecent images of people under the age of 18, you might not be as clued up as you think you are.

Sharing photos and swapping videos is now all part of everyday life. However, when these videos or images contain sexual content, we all need to think twice.
