There's always one.

Have you ever read a funny meme on the Internet but thought 'actually, that's not entirely true' and then spent your afternoon debunking it just to prove you're a twat prove it's not true?

Well, that's what Connor Oliver did. The 21-year-old engineering student noticed a post going viral about some song called 'Closer' by The Chainsmokers. Not gonna lie, I've never heard of it so I just searched it on YouTube and, let's just say, that's 29 seconds of my life I will never get back.

The (godawful) song includes the lyric, 'so baby pull me closer in the backseat of your Rover'. I know. But just stick with me.

Some geezer called Amaan Shaikh then created the (grammatically incorrect, which I'll fix for you) post which reads: "...tbh if I had a $1 for every time I've listened to 'Closer' by the Chainsmokers, I could probably afford that Rover they've be talking about.."

However, professional smart-arse Conor pointed out this statement wasn't entirely true.

He Googled the cost of a Range Rover (not the old Rover that they don't make anymore), and then worked out exactly how many times you'd have to listen to the damn song for it to be legit.

He lost me at 10199200 seconds to be honest. I can't lie, it annoyed me too. Still, it is pretty impressive.

As my old primary school teacher, Mr Fielding, would say, give that lad a toffee apple!
