106-year-old great grandmother gets a naked butler to celebrate her birthday

106-year-old great grandmother gets a naked butler to celebrate her birthday

Norah Shaw joked that she wanted a 'hunky man' for her birthday. And hoo boy, did she get one.

A great-grandmother has had her wish granted after a 'hunky man' arrived at her 106th birthday.

Norah Shaw has lived through two world wars, two pandemics, and 20 UK Prime Ministers... but she's never been served sandwiches by a nude waiter before.

Well, until now.

Eddy Betteridge, 32, rocked up to Shaw's East Midlands care home wearing nothing but an apron and a face mask.

But it wasn't his bare bum that Norah couldn't take her eyes off. It was his chest.

"Eddy was tall, had nice eyes and was very attractive. He had no hair on his chest at all, which impressed me," Norah said.

"I had never seen anything like it."

Eddy provided Norah with sandwiches, scones, and glasses of bubbles as part of a birthday present from her daughter Gill Shaw.

The gift came about when Norah joked to care home staff that all she wanted for her big day was a 'hunky man'.

"I was very shocked when he turned around, because he had no underwear on," Norah revealed.

"It was quite amusing."

She added: "I had to keep checking, so I asked him to get some sandwiches."

Oh Norah, you saucy minx.

The mum-of-three, with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, marked her 106th trip around the sun with family members, fellow care home residents, and Eddy for the cheeky afternoon tea. Onya, Norah.

Norah was born in Manchester on 6 August 1916 to parents who owned a laundry.

Her daughter Gill said that she often heard stories about how her mum would wrap up freshly laundered items with brown paper and string to deliver them to customers using a horse cart.

"She’s a walking and talking history book. She has seen and been through everything," Gill said.

"So much has changed in her life and she has taken it all in her stride."

And, even though she never remarried after her husband's death in 1994, her daughter Gill said she's still 'fun and flirty' to this day.

"She’s a little bit cheeky, she’s got a twinkle in her eye and she’s always game for a laugh," Gill said.

We'll bet Eddy can attest to that, too.

After getting to the incredible age of 106, it would be safe to assume that Norah has either found the fountain of youth or has some sort of life hack for living longer.

But if she does, she sure as hell isn't sharing it.

"I can’t reveal the secret of how I lived so long or it won’t be a secret," Norah said.
