Andrew Tate appeared to predict his own arrest in a resurfaced interview where he said that he would be 'arrested or killed'.

This comes after the controversial media personality, 36, was arrested on 29 December after being accused of involvement in human trafficking and rape.

Tate was reprimanded by Romanian authorities after appearing to accidentally reveal he was in the country via pizza boxes on Twitter.

The boxes - which were from the Romanian brand Jerry's Pizza - appeared in a video where he clapped back at climate change activist Greta Thunberg after she suggested he has a small penis.

Now, a video from just weeks ago has resurfaced and it features Tate stating that he believed he would be arrested - despite claiming his innocence.

"I would never, ever kill myself," he said during a podcast appearance. "I truly believe they are gonna come and they're gonna try and kill me in a long enough time frame.

"They've tried to shut me up, and I won't shut up. They're going to [either] try and put me in jail or they're going to kill me.

"I would never kill myself under any circumstances ever and the reason I say this, and I say this to people and they go, 'But what can they put you in jail for?'

"And I'm like how ignorant are you? [It is] your ignorance to believe they need a reason."

The resurfaced clip has gone viral since it was posted, and social media users have been flooding the footage with comments.

"[It's] easy to say that when you know that you have committed a crime," remarked one viewer.

A second added: "Man that broke the law predicts his arrest [sic]."

"He f**ing trafficked girls and took them as sex slaves for his Cam Girl business. That's how he made his fortune," remarked a third.

"It's not a conspiracy, he is a dangerous criminal and should be behind bars."

"It's almost like he knew he was trafficking humans," remarked a fourth viewer while a fifth added: "Well when you commit crimes they normally do try to put you in jail [sic]."

According to prosecutors, Tate was part of an organised crime ring that trafficked at least six women into performing sexually explicit acts which were recorded and sold online.

Following his arrest and that of his younger brother, Tristan, 34, as well as two Romanian suspects, Tate released the following statement via a spokesperson.

They told the MailOnline: "We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can."

LADbible has reached out to Andrew Tate's representatives for further comment.
