Police in America have been hunting for a cow for the past few weeks and have constantly come up short.

The issue has become so severe that the local police department have issued a Wanted poster to encourage people to be on the lookout for the bovine creature.

Pembroke Pines Police Department wrote on social media: "Wanted: Unknown Cow.

"Description: Female cow. Brown with a white head. Faster than it looks. Talented fence jumper. Enjoys pools."

"Pending charges: Mooving Violations, Uddering false checks, and fleeing and eluding police."

Thankfully the cow isn't a danger to anyone, however an animal-on-the-loose does mean there could be some road safety issues that crop up.

However, since the Pembroke Pines Police Department uploaded the cow's mugshot to social media, people have been coming out to support the animal.

One person wrote: "The cow has no owner, it belongs solely to itself!"

Another added: "What's your beef?"

A third said: "You just keep running girl."

People who are heading through the I-75 in Broward County are being urged to keep their eyes peeled for a cow that looks like it could be a fugitive.
