Bizarre footage shows the moment a dog cornered a cat after it fell from the sky and crashed on to a pensioner's head, knocking him unconscious. You can watch the video here:

In the clip, Gao Fenghua, can be seen walking his golden retriever in the city of Harbin in the north-eastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang. But as he strolls with his arms behind his back, a cat plummets from above and smashes on to his head, sending him tumbling to the ground.

The disorientated cat then scurries away as the retriever returns to its owner's side. After briefly looking around, the dog - which is wearing footwear on its front two paws - clocks the cat and corners it against a building.

Clearly though, the dog has no intention of hurting the cat, playfully bounding around in front of it, with the cat swinging a feisty punch in return.

The incident took place on 12 July and Gao subsequently spent 23 days in hospital, and is still undergoing physiotherapy.

The cat reportedly belongs to Gao's neighbour and fell from their apartment. The neighbour and Gao are currently in the process of trying to reach a compensation agreement.

A couple of weeks ago, Twitch star Natalia 'Alinity' Mogollon was bitten by her cat during a live-stream.

Cat Maya could be seen pouncing on Mogollon's arm and sinking in its teeth as she sang along to Aerosmith classic 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing'.

Mogollon was clearly rattled by the unexpected chomping, as she stopped singing and sat there speechless for a few seconds, before offering up an explanation as to why it might have happened.

She said: "He interrupts my singing as a female being in heat. I'm sorry, I will never sing again. I promise to God I will not sing again."

But some people thought this was karma biting back. The 32-year-old was at the centre of an animal cruelty row last summer, when she was accused of throwing one of her cats during a Twitch live-stream.

Fans and animal activists alike were outraged, as other footage emerged of her questionable interactions with her pets, but she has since been found not guilty of the charges filed against her.
