Dog Gets Stoned After Accidentally Eating A Joint On A Walk

From walkies to munchies.

Dogs do the funniest things. They're cute and adorable, but also kind of dorky. It's part of their (goofy) charm.

When Chloe O'Neill took her one-year-old Weimaraner, called Gunnar, for a walk in the park, she was probably just expecting to enjoy the sun with her puppy. The worst thing she could have thought would happen is that she'd have to pick up some dog poo.

That was before Gunnar came across a joint on the ground, and being a dog, he thought he'd give it a lick. And then he ate it.

Oh dogs. Why must you try to eat everything you sniff?

Obviously a bit worried - who knows how a dog's stomach would injest a joint, Chloe took her dog to the vet.

She took a video of Gunnar in the waiting room at the vets. The poor pup has glazed eyes, is unsteady on his feet and is leaning his head on a wall. Chloe even has to grab Gunnar at one point as he almost falls over!

So pretty much the same thing happens to dogs when they get high as humans.

Chloe shared the video on Twitter and it got a huge, mixed reaction.

Unlike dogs, cats get high all the time...but it's okay, it's just on catnip.

When you give a cat some catnip they start rolling on the ground, pawing at it, licking it, and chewing it. After they've had some of the minty plant, they start drooling, get sleepy and anxious after about 15 minutes.
