Craft beer company BrewDog has hidden wads of cash within its multipack cans as part of its 'Cash Cans' competition.

There's £50,000 up for grabs, which will be shared across 59 lucky drinkers who pick up select 12 packs of BrewDog beer either via the brewery website or in Tesco.

The highest prize drinkers can receive is £10,000, as well as two lots of £5,000, four lots of £1,000 and 52 prizes of £500.

The prizes are hidden inside 12 packs of the beer - specifically 330ml cans of Punk IPA, Hazy Jane or Lost Lager - and can be found on special cans wrapped in a cash label.

Lauren Carrol, director of brand and marketing at BrewDog, said: “Summer is our favourite season at BrewDog, so we’re kicking it off with a bang! 59 lucky winners stand to win cold, hard cash, just by purchasing our delicious beers.

"We hope fans are as excited as we are that the Cash Can hunt is officially on.”

If you're lucky enough to get your hands on one of the winning cans, winners will find instructions on how to claim the prize in each pack. But be careful, all prizes must be claimed by 31 October 2022.

Go, go, go!

In other news, earlier this month we told you how BrewDog has announced it is opening its biggest bar in the world, with a new 27,500 sq ft unit set over two floors.

The new space will be coming to central London in August, with the Scottish craft brewer now operating more than 100 bars across the country.

It'll be located inside The Sidings at Waterloo Station, and will also be home to co-working spaces and pods, a micro-brewery, a Grind café, duckpin bowling alleys, a podcast studio, meeting rooms, a not-for-profit floristry and a retro ice cream van serving Hackney Gelato.

If that wasn't exciting enough, there'll even be cocktail hideaway with its own secret entrance – a collaboration between BrewDog and London mixologist Rich ‘The Cocktail Guy’ Woods.

The site will open on Thursday 18 August, with the first 200 people through the door given the chance to win a pair of tickets to visit BrewDog Las Vegas.

James Watt, chief executive of BrewDog, said: “Our plans for BrewDog Waterloo are as exciting as the city it lies at the heart of. This is our new flagship bar for London so we are making it a true destination.

“From enjoying a morning artisan coffee in our Grind café to stopping in for a post-work pint, you’ll be able to take your commute to the next level.

"Record your own podcast, explore our hidden cocktail bar, or stoke some competition with a game of duckpin bowling or ping-pong. BrewDog Waterloo has something for everyone, and we cannot wait to open our doors this August.”
