Social Media Users Horrified After Watching Car Make 'Anxiety Inducing' Turn

Social Media Users Horrified After Watching Car Make 'Anxiety Inducing' Turn

"Never going to complain about doing a three-point-turn… ever."

Footage showing an absolutely heart-stopping tight turn is shocking motorists online. Check it out here, I dare you not to wince:

The clip shows a dark blue car on the very edge of a narrow road that appears to have quite a steep, sheer drop at the side of it.

The unknown driver, who must have some heavy confidence in his driving ability, can be seen slowly edging and turning the car until they manage to do a 180 and shoot off down the road like it’s no big deal.

I mean, if we’re being honest, it’s a bit more than a three-point turn, but fair play to the driver! I’d have got out, abandoned the car and walked to wherever I needed to be.

As you can imagine, the nail-biting clip has attracted plenty of attention online, with one person commenting: “I held my breath watching this.”

Another said: “Never going to complain about doing a three-point-turn… ever.”

Twitter

Someone else joked: “Now, to complete the practical element of your driving test… Please turn the vehicle round by means of forward mountainside and reverse cliff edge…”

While a fourth person tweeted: “! don't know what's worse... 1. The fact this guy thought this was a good idea. 2. The fact if he drove just a few feet up the road, it looked like there was a street he could easily turn around in. 3. The fact that somehow he actually managed it!"

Many social media users simply branded it ‘terrifying’ or ‘anxiety inducing’, while others questioned why the driver didn’t simply reverse back down the road - but where’s the fun in that, eh?

Last year, a driver in New Zealand was slated for their ‘150-point turn’ as they attempted to exit the car park of a supermarket.

Footage shared online by a fella called Mark Barnes showed the driver of a grey vehicle attempting to leave the Five Mile Shopping Centre in Queenstown.

The clip showed the car almost scraping against the trolley bay next to it as the driver tried but failed to reverse straight out and then instead of just straightening the vehicle, the driver performed a never-ending series of mini turns across two parking spaces.

Incredibly after almost four minutes of careful manoeuvring, the grey car managed to drive off having not hit the trolley bay or a black 4x4 just two spaces over. It well and truly got there in the end.
