Carole Baskin Gets Tricked Into Doing A Shout-Out To Rolf Harris And Jimmy Savile

Carole Baskin Gets Tricked Into Doing A Shout-Out To Rolf Harris And Jimmy Savile

An Australian comedian has upped the ante by getting Tiger King's Carole Baskin to do a positive shoutout to disgraced sex offenders Rolf Harris and Jimmy Savile.

Tom Armstrong previously pranked 7th Heaven star Beverley Mitchell into saying nice things about renowned Australian serial killer Ivan Milat.

He's double downed and managed to get the infamous 'Hey all you cool cats and kittens' star to say some pretty risque things about Harris and Saville.

Armstrong said in a video posted to TikTok: "Surely I couldn't get another American celebrity to shout out Australia's most notorious sexual predator - bonus points if they mention UK's most notorious sexual predator."

He got none other than Carole Baskin to do a shoutout on Cameo, a platform that allows people to pay for a video from a semi-famous celebrity.

The clip then cuts to Baskin giving her unknowing praise to Harris and Saville.

"Hey all you cool cats and kittens, it's Carole Baskin at Big Cat Rescue," she says on film. "Hi Rolf Harris - all your kids wanted to get together and tell you that you have really touched them and that they love all that you have done for them.

"I hear there's a lot of great stories about you and your best friend, Jimmy Saville - can't wait to hear those. Happy birthday Rolf."

Jesus Christ.

Baskin must get hundreds of requests a day since premiering on Cameo and surely she wouldn't cross check every single name given to her for a shoutout. She might be doing a bit of research from now on.

After it was revealed who she gave a shoutout to, Baskin told the Mirror: "I am amazed at the lengths (and expense) people will go to in order to trash my reputation. Of course, I have never heard of Rolf Harris, and would not have done the Cameo had I known.

"The signature line in my email reads, 'I ask you to judge me by the enemies I have made - Franklin D. Roosevelt', and I think that tells you all you need to know about the kind of people who abuse me in their efforts to make others hate me."

Rolf Harris, was a legendary Australian entertainer before he was jailed for five years and nine months in prison on twelve counts of indecent assault on four teenage female victims during the 1970s and 1980s.

Jimmy Savile was an English DJ, television and radio personality who hosted BBC shows including Top of the Pops. After his death in 2011, hundreds of sexual abuse allegations were made against him. Police eventually concluded that he was a predatory sex offender and could have been one of Britain's most prolific.

Tom Armstrong's con of Beverley Mitchell was similarly outrageous after he told her a white lie that Ivan Milat was a big fan of 7th Heaven and helped him backpack around Australia.

"Hey Ivan! Not many people pick up hitchhikers anymore, but you really helped out the backpacker gang and you belong in 7th Heaven. So thank you, we need more people in the world like you Ivan ... Milat, I hope I'm saying that right," she said in the clip

"Sending you lots of love and thank you again for being such a big fan and for just being awesome and being you."
