Chris Pratt has spoken on Instagram for the first time after sharing a controversial post. Watch here:
In an Instagram story, the actor said he had been feeling 'upset' after being widely criticised online.

He said: "I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed and woke up feeling crappy. And I didn't want to work out, I didn't want to.
"I knew though that if I put on my Christian music playlist and I got out in the woods and ran that I'd feel better, but I just didn't want to, and I did it anyways and gosh, was I right. It felt amazing.
"I got out in the woods, got my blood pumping. And God like, sat down there right next to me."
The Guardians of the Galaxy star recently came under fire after he showered his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger with praise on Instagram - and while it sounded like a lovely shoutout, fans thought there was a bit of problematic subtext.

Pratt wrote: "Guys. For real. Look how she's looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church.
"She's given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that's love!
"She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That's the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me.

"My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot."
People have pointed out how he referred to his 'gorgeous healthy daughter' and how that might be hurtful to his ex-wife Anna Faris and the son they share:
Jack has slight vision and leg muscle issues after he was born premature and had a cerebral haemorrhage.

While he didn't suffer permanent damage as a result of being born early, Anna and Chris had a nervous 18 month wait to get that diagnosis.
Many fans believe it was offensive that he seemed to revel in having a 'gorgeous healthy daughter'.
