A raft of celebrities have come together to form a united voice to stamp out everyday racism.

The likes of Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Sarah Paulson, Aaron Paul, Kesha, Justin Theroux, Debra Messing, Bryce Dallas Howard and many more feature in the two-minute video put together by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and Confluential Films.

In the video, they all pledge to take 'responsibility for turning the racist tide in America', while condemning the police accused of brutality against citizens and promising to learn more 'about issues facing the black community'.

The script, which all the actors share, says: "I will no longer allow an unchecked moment. I will no longer allow hateful, racist words, jokes, stereotypes, no matter how big or small, to be uttered in my presence."

"Black people are being slaughtered in the streets, killed in their own homes.

"These are our brothers and sisters, our friends, our family. We are done watching them die. We are no longer bystanders. We will not be idle. Enough is enough."

"Going for a jog should not be a death sentence. Sleeping in your own home should not be a death sentence.

"Playing video games with your nephew should not be a death sentence. Shopping in a store should not be a death sentence. Business as usual should not be life-threatening."

The video has sparked many comparisons to the video produced by a bunch of A-list celebrities a few months ago.

Gal Gadot led several stars in singing a rendition of John Lennon's 'Imagine' as the coronavirus pandemic was taking hold around the world. The video was meant to be a message to everyone to hold on and stay positive.

It's hoped this 'I Take Responsibility' video is shared across the world to help share a message of non-tolerance on racism.

NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson said in a statement: "The entire country has reached its limit and we cannot allow one more Black person to die at the hands of government. Systematic racial discrimination continues to permeate society and in order for us to get to a better place as a country, it will take all of us to come together and do better.

"We have a unique opportunity to open up dialogue, encourage white people, especially those with an extensive platform, to hold themselves accountable, listen and learn."
