Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and Megan Fox have unveiled another controversial Halloween couple costume and this time they've offended an entire religion.

The pair posted photos of their outfits to social media, with MGK clad in the robes of a Catholic priest while Fox decided to go the more provocative route by donning fishnets, a collar, a dog lead, and black, wet look lingerie.

Alongside the Instagram image carousel, Fox captioned the post: "On Sundays we take communion."

As if the religious symbolism wasn't enough, she added two emojis, one pair of prayer hands and one set of rosary beads.

And, yeah, unsurprisingly, Christians didn't really dig the clear dom-sub vibes of the pair's latest Halloween look.

One social media user said: "Repent. Jesus Christ died for what you are doing right now. You have children. Where is the example? The respect? Christianity is not a costume. It’s not a religion. It’s a relationship with God."

A second chipped in with: "What happened to cultural appropriation? Why is it wrong to dress up as an [native American] but okay to mock the Catholic faith. It’s absolutely abhorrent and offensive and I’m so sick of the double standard!"

A third said: "Why is it that all you celebs mock Christianity? What's the agenda? And why do yall hate God so much? I guess the devil is real."

Another person brought up one of the images in particular which features a scantily clad Fox on her knees with her mouth open.

MGK is placing a wafer on her tongue in the sexually suggestive image as if he were a Catholic priest.

They added: "Totally dislike these costumes and to mock communion is sad to me. I’m a fan of you both but damn this was just like a total 'wtf' moment for me."

The couple also came under fire for their choice of Halloween costumes only one day ago, with internet users accusing them of glorifying and romanticising a 'toxic relationship'.

The 32-year-old musician and his girlfriend Megan Fox dressed up as Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson for the spooky season's big night of nights.

MGK uploaded a picture of himself and Fox alongside a picture of Pam and Tommy for comparison - they were spot on, by the way - and a video of the singer appearing to snort a line of white powder off of Fox's breast.

As a result they were slammed online for glorifying drug use.

One person said: "Even if it's fake, and a joke. This is not okay to promote to your fans and it's even worse for the children they both have. Highly disappointed, really not a fan of yours anymore at this point."

Another added: "As a person that is two years sober this is absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. Just lost me as a fan and probably a million other people in recovery that used to idolise you."

A third simply stated: "This is not the flex you think it is."
