Couple with two foot height difference keep getting asked if it changes their sex lives

A couple with an almost two foot height difference have opened up about their relationship - and admit they're asked 'all the time' if the height gap affects their sex life.

Brooke Dostillio, 25, and Dylan Painter, 24, have been together for almost three years, and their massive height difference has seen them asked the same question repeatedly.

Dylan stands at an impressive 6ft 10ins while Brooke is just 5ft tall.

Brooke, from near Philadelphia, Delaware, said: "We're pretty used to our height difference. I'm so short so everyone's tall to me, and Dylan's so tall that everyone's short to him - so it doesn't really matter to us.

"It's more of a shock to other people when they see us out. They usually comment on our height difference, and mostly say stuff to Dylan because he is unusually tall."

And one thing most people tend to ask is if the couple's height difference causes problems in the bedroom.

Brooke and Dylan are constantly asked the same question about their love life.

Brooke, who first got together with Dylan in January 2020, said: "Online people do always ask how 'it' works and whether our height difference changes our intimacy - which it doesn't.

"But we just think it's funny, we knew going into publicising our relationship people would make those comments."

Like many modern couples, the pair met on a dating app - in their case Bumble - when they were students at at the University of Delaware.

While Brooke is still a student, Dylan, who is from from Hershey, Pennsylvania, is a professional basketball player, and his job prompted the couple to relocate to Germany.

He is now playing there for the Trier Gladiators while Booke is continuing her studies to become a mental health councillor.

But while the couple's massive height difference doesn't affect their love life per se, Brooke did admit that their kissing does take a different form compared to most couples.

Brooke said she can't imagine being with someone shorter now.

"When we had our first kiss we had to be sitting down, and when we kiss now, he has to lean down a lot. But I like it," Brooke declared.

"After being with Dylan I couldn't imagine being with someone closer to my height. I've become so comfortable with it and wouldn't ever change it."

She also admitted that their large height difference has its advantages when it comes to day-to-day life, and so it's no wonder Brooke can't imagine being with someone smaller.

She said: "I really like our height difference, it's definitely very handy with certain things.

"If I can't reach stuff in the kitchen or on top of the wardrobe, he can get it, and if something falls or is under the bed, it's easier for me to get it."
