Chris Watts’ ‘secret mistress’ shares damning texts he sent her before killing his family
A woman who claims to have had a 'secret' affair with convicted killer Chris Watts has revealed the contents of some of their conversations.
Amanda McMahon alleges that she had a fling with the disgraced dad spanning several months, which supposedly ended before he horrifically murdered his pregnant wife Shanann and their two daughters.
The mum has now shared new details of how they began an intimate relationship after connecting on a dating app, while exposing some of the messages that she claims he sent to her.
Watts, 41, is locked up at the Dodge Correctional Institution in Wisconsin and is serving multiple life sentences after he was found guilty of killing his Shanann and their children Bella, four, and three-year-old Celeste.

He brutally strangled his spouse before then smothering the two little girls in August 2018, with the intention of starting a new life with his co-worker and mistress Nichol Kessinger.
Shanann's body was then buried in a shallow grave at the site of an oil and gas company in Colorado, while Bella and Celeste were dumped in crude oil barrels.
The twisted dad then tried to convince cops that he had no idea of their whereabouts and brazenly even gave TV interviews begging for his family's safe return while posing as a concerned parent.

Watts' web of deceit was eventually unravelled by police and he confessed to the devastating murders after failing a polygraph test.
He told investigators that Shanann rumbled his affair and told him that she would not allow him to see their children, according to ABC News.
Tragically, Bella then walked in and saw what her dad was doing to her mother on the fateful evening. Watts drove the four-year-old and Celeste in the vehicle with their mother's body before then ending their lives.
He said that Bella's last words were: "Daddy, no!" The inmate previously said he hears his daughter saying this each time he closes his eyes.
While plotting to rid himself of his family, Watts is alleged to have become involved with McMahon.
Despite previously describing their relationship has a 'fast and furious' one-off encounter to police, she revealed that it actually lasted for several months.
According to his 'secret' lover, the pair began exchanging messages on Tinder in April or May of 2017, before subsequently swapping phone numbers. After a few weeks, they then met for the first time at a Chick-fil-A car park.
McMahon alleges that he discussed his relationship with Shanann with her, but did not clarify the status of it. Instead, she claimed that Watts referred to Shanann as his 'baby mama' rather than his wife.
They watched the Martin Scorsese film Shutter Island at her home during their first meeting, before then having consensual sex. But McMahon claims that 'in the snap of a finger, he went from normal to crazy' during intercourse.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she alleged that she became 'scared to say anything' when he began getting aggressive while having sex.
'He did not like that poor woman'
McMahon said she continued to keep in touch with Watts and had sex with him on at least two more occasions between the late spring of 2017 and early 2018.
She alleged that during these liaisons, he would often discuss Shanann - and she claims that he dubbed her a 'f***ing psycho' and a 'gold digger', among other 'awful things'.
"Any shot you could take, he took...he just did not like that poor woman," McMahon told the publication. She eventually cut contact with Watts in March 2018 after updating her phone number.
However, she has apparently kept some screenshots of some of the conversations that she shared with Watts while they were entangled. McMahon shared 'a handful' of these with the Mail.
One of Watts alleged chats with his secret mistress began with her messaging him saying 'Morning bud', to which he then responded: "What's new pretty lady? When can we eat tacos together?"
McMahon told him that his suggestion of sitting down to eat together 'sounds like a plan', before Watts then answered with the message: "This could get out of hand. I like it."
The mum told the publication that she was engaging in 'reckless' behaviour at the time of her alleged affair with Watts as she was going through a custody battle and was 'looking to numb' her emotions.
McMahon described Watts as 'sick', but admitted he largely managed to pull the wool over her eyes.
"He appeared normal... but there was something not right about him," she added.
Watts was given five life sentences without the possibility of parole in November 2018 by a judge who described his offending as perhaps 'the most inhumane and vicious crime' he had ever seen.
